I’m Rodrigue, from France, and for most of the last decade a tech product manager, four of those years spent building AI products. Then a string of COVID infections left me with ME/CFS, and the life I’d built stopped almost overnight.

I’ve since recovered to around 90% of my old capacity, hoping and aiming for 100%. Along the way I read a great deal of research, ran careful experiments on myself, and learned that our inner states shape far more of our outer life than I’d ever believed as a skeptic. ME/CFS has no known cure, but there is somes ways to better cope with it.

This site is where I write that down. Mostly about ME/CFS, Long COVID, pacing, and the mind-body science I dug into while getting better. Always grounded in what the research actually says, and always careful to separate a well-evidenced mechanism from a claim about curing this illness.

I’m not a doctor. I cite primary research (IOM, Nature, The Lancet, Science) rather than claim clinical authority, and nothing here replaces pacing or medical care.

I write from experience. I’ve lived moderate ME/CFS with post-exertional malaise: the crashes, the disbelief from the medical system, the dispair, the hope and ultimately the slow climb back.
